This grant will allow the Health Department to purchase SmokeCheck, a monitor to accurately, simply and quickly provide smokers with a visual display of carbon monoxide. The SmokeCheck will be used in Project Reality Check, a new program to raise awareness of the harmful effects of tobacco use in women, with a particular emphasis on pregnant women.
